The Cycle Breaker Business Academy is Future Cycle Breakers’ adult entrepreneurship program, designed for individuals ready to break generational cycles and build real, sustainable income through business ownership. Whether you’re just getting started or scaling up, this academy offers the tools, coaching, and community you need to succeed—your way.
OUR BUSINESS
BUILDING BOOTCAMP
Our 10-week, 100-hour program serves as both a Business Incubator and Workforce Development Center, equipping participants with entrepreneurial and employability skills that drive economic growth. Through business planning, financial literacy, leadership training, and mentorship, participants gain the confidence and tools to launch businesses or enter the workforce successfully.
By investing in education, mentorship, and economic empowerment, Future Cycle Breakers is breaking cycles, building self-sufficiency, and strengthening communities across Northwest Indiana and Chicago’s South Side.

PROGRAM TARGETED FOCUS
Our Busines Building Bootcamp programs focus on Economic Mobility & Poverty Reduction, Workforce Development, and Leadership & Community Engagement, equipping youth with the skills, mentorship, and resources needed to build businesses, secure employment, and become active leaders in their communities. By providing hands-on training, career readiness, and entrepreneurial education, we empower young people to take control of their futures and drive lasting change where it’s needed most.
Economic Mobility and Poverty Reduction
Equips youth with financial literacy and entrepreneurial skills, giving them the tools to achieve long-term financial stability.
Workforce Development
Bridges this gap by teaching essential workforce skills, such as problem-solving, communication, and leadership, while also aligning entrepreneurial training with regional economic demands.
Leadership and Community Engagement
Encourages youth to think creatively about solving community-specific challenges. Participants develop confidence and skills that enable them to become role models, mentors, and active contributors.
PROGRAM COHORT
Graduates of our Business Building Bootcamp advance to the Growth & Nurture Incubator for continued startup support. With up to $1,000 in startup funding, they receive hands-on guidance from advisors, master key business skills, and gain mentorship through a dedicated Business Growth Guide, connecting them to our expert network for long-term success.
